right now there really isn't anything unless you import some of the kits with huge front air dams or cut open the front bumper...ghetto style.

DSM's are a whole different story....they come with boost but it's still a little on the ghetto side if you have to cut into the front end

Well I had the smiley bumper and I HAD to in order to make it fit.

And for the bB.. that IC looks like a piece of painted cardboard.

Looks real to me. You can't connect piping to cardboard. Look on the U.S.passenger side. You can see the piping running to the core with silicone hose and clamps.

the scion doesn't need a big intercooler if one at all. it will run a small amount of boost, so any kit should work

What the heck is up with all these ghetto looking rides with darn exposed radiators (ICs excuse me)?! I don't see this on any of the german cars that come with turbp stock, why do these cars need that crap?!

That's cuz they hid their crappy little intercoolers behind the side of the bumper so their stuck-up buyers won't complain about seeing something related to the engine on the outside. If you knew anything about forced induction you'd know that an intercooler in the direct path of flowing air will cool the air charge more resulting in a power increase.

actually i am a vw owner/driver/fanatic and with the 1.8t motors i have seen lots of guys moving the smics to the front for more exposure, air, etc etc etc, but usually only after a turbo upgrade

i know its still late to post on this one but for my 3000gt i had to cut the front crash bar and take out the active aero in the front as well as cut the front bumper to hell to get it to fit (24x12.8x3)

Typically with MOST FMIC setups you either have to trim or completely remove the front bumper and trim the bumper cover.
