JDM bB Bodykit Questions...
Can anyone tell me what brand kit the South Corporation Yokahama used on their bB?
http://www.south-yokohama.com/bb.html
Also, does anyone have any better pix than those on their site?
And finally is there anyone in the U.S. that sells the kit, and what is their retail price?

Can anyone recommend a good shop here in CA that does a lot of importing of parts from Japan that may be able to get the kit?
I don't think we would be getting it right away, but I would like to know how much it will set us back when it is time. I know doing a currency conversion off of the Yokahama site puts the price right under $800.

Just a word of advice,... when looking at Japanese products becareful of these words, M/C前 and M/C 後.
The former, M/C前 means before face lift. (M/C in strange Japanese English means minor change).
US xB are all M/C 後, at least externally. Of course most interior mods for bB for M/C 後 may not fit in xB as bB steering wheels are on the right of the car.

I don't think that this would be an issue. I am looking at an exterior lip kit. There are several people running JDM kits meant for the bB here in the US if I am not mistaken.
I was just wanting to know if anyone in the US already imports this kit, or has the ability to do so. Or to see if anyone knew who actually manufactured the kit. Whether it was South Corporation Yokohama or not.
Thanks for the information though.

Can you, or someone else explain to me the difference between a USDM xB bumper and the JDM bB bumper?
I am not a big follower of the JDM or VIP movement, and so have no clue. I just happen to prefer the look of this lip kit to the stock one. (It looks even less like a lip kit than the stock one does from what I can see.)
If a JDM front bumper (cover) is required, what else must I order in order to make it work? (Bumper brackets, etc.)

depending on what version the jdm bumper covers are shorter cause there's no metal crash bumper behind it. so if you happen to get a shorter kit you'd have to extend it. i bumped into this problem when i got my PARTO kit which was for a gen 1 so it had to be extended.

To put it easier, Japan uses Zenki and Kouki to differeniate to model generations of the same car. We have the Kouki. Basically means the interior peices are different and the bumpers are longer. Don't forget to watch for the plate location on the rear hatch or bumper. some companies offer both styles of bodykits. Seeing both generations side by side, I can tell almost exactly what's different now. Only thing that isn't different is that Japan still uses the older zenki headlights that I could tell anyway.
