Jeff!!!!

well chassis stiffining will help yes. Honestly your box isn't going to flex unless under severe abusing conditions and even then it probably wouldn't.

The wing should've stayed in the junk pile. I like the Green, that's a color that should've been offered as stock. The front bumper is not to bad. It's got some style and still looks relatively like it could be Toyota factory, not horribly garish like some of the designs Veilside kits and others. The round fog/driving lights really don't even look out of place on a box being they're inset into sqaured openings. Really, it's nice enough to possibly copy. Wonder how that would look under a Lowbox hood

There may be more "we"'s more sooner than later. Called a few dealers and got some figures on new OEM Suby parts to hack apart. As Lip I'm sure already knows, but there are a handful of variations from Suby on the Impreza front ends (the one pictured is from the 02/03 WRX turbo). The cover from a WRX turbo WAGON is not to bad either, it's just one open slot w/o the two ribs in each side.

For those looking to make their own, be forewarned that the Scion parts are made from 'TSOP' pp/ep plastic - aka 'oily plastic' and is not the easiest material in the world to weld and make it look good too. I don't know what the exact material of the Suby cover is made from, something similar I imagine - some version of polypropylene is the most common/cheapest.

(sorry for taking that a little off-thread LIP, thread's about your roof... not your buddy's ride. --- BTW, Thanks again for the x-brace, doing great still.)
