its worth it. and looks good on BCP. once the pollen goes away and i take a stripe off the car, ill take pics.
www.autolumination.com someone forgot the U in the link..

I found LED Halo ring headlights for my xb on ebay for $97 for the pair. Hell of a deal, brand new (guess they mustve accidently listed too low) Now Im looking for the carbon fiber LED tails...

great DIY write up 1epoxy... i just wanna get a good idea if everyone is having a leak problem or just a few bad seals?

i have the upgraded TYC's from the dealer.. and i want to know how the fitment of these LED tails compares?

i really like these lights.. but were skeptical of them because no one on ebay really mentioned the brand name of the lights.. and u always hear about bad quality tails and headlights on ebay.

any input from current led taillight owners would be appreciated!

Thanks Mike. There is a little water that gets into the bottom of the light when I wash the car. Its only in the very bottom and never fogs. When I saw them on ebay, I was worried about quality, but the lights work great. A lot of the LED ones are made by Sonar, thats what I have.

Best place to buy is www.bBist.com he has them for like 160ish. I love mine and can't wait to get them installed after Christmas.
Does anyone know for sure what flasher part# we need to run the led bulbs?

Check out the bottom of this page, it has the resistors and the flasher unit (CF18-08 ). I use the resistors, so not sure how well the flasher unit works.

I didn't want to tap into my wires so the flasher option is what I'll do if I go led front and rear. Plus those resistors will add up if 4 of them are needed.
On a different note. Has anyone added an LED 921 bulb to the upper brake light. I ordered a led 921 bulb for it so all the brake lights will hopefully match.

Mine aren't going in for a couple weeks due to a trip up north. I'll post up some after they get installed.

yea i did. its a bulb i got from www.autolumination.com

the problem is since LED's are "directional" the 3rd brake light is angled so its not bright but you can still see the 3rd brake light light up during the day. but dont be dissapointed that its not as bright as a regular bulb. maybe what i would do is get a LED strip and fabricate a mount to mount them and make it look good that way.

My 921 bulb came from superlumina and is called super white Matrix so it might differ from the one you used.

I wonder if a strip of leds could be mounted inside the the 3rd brake light housing right behind the red lens?

The main concern for me is that it lights up at the same speed as the other two.

Here's black on my black sand pearl 06 xB. I have the regular silver bulb that lights up amber from autoalumination.com for my signals. Sorry the pics are crappy but you get the idea.
