Looking for Xb overlays to blackout headlights & taillig
Anyone know of any websites were I can purchase some overlays for my headlights and tail lights to black them out. I was even thinking about the corner lights too. Has anybody ever blackout all of those on a black Xb? Was it hard and how did it turn out? Thanks in advance.

I've got the ClearGuard overlays for my heads, tails and fogs and I've got the Bluebatmobile ones on the sidemarkers. Had the BBM tails before but I like the ClearGuards cuz they are thicker and easier to work with and I liked the final look better. I also wanted them to match the headlights and fogs. Can you tell which one's mine?

It's not too bad, most of the time. 99% of my driving is on the freeway or lit city streets so I've never felt like I was having trouble seeing ahead. The 1% came from when I was at my parent's house. They live out in the sticks and I was definitely straining a little cuz the roads are twisty and there are lots of deer in the area. Other than that one night, it's worth the stealth look to lose some output. I've also put brighter bulbs in to help out. I may switch the yellows to white/blues again now with the tints.

1) You don't run the risk of the tail assembly fogging up due to poor sealing after opening the tails as you would when painting. (although a clear silicone sealent is recommended and almost eliminates the chances of fog)
2) Its ALOT more simple!
3) You can remove it on spot if you get any hassle from law enforcement
4) Lastly, if you mess up, all you've damaged is a strip of smoked vinyl and NOT YOUR TAILS!

ive blacked out my headlight corners, sidemarkers and taillights with bluebatmobile in the past and it gave me what i wanted at the time. pretty easy to do (unless you're an impatient ___ like me)
i dont have the corner and sidemarkers smoked anymore but still have the tails and added the foglight overlays.

Bat,
I have a question. How much are fog+rear overlays, or fogs by themselves? I'm not guaranteeing I want to buy them, because I'm actually content with my stock tails, but I kind of like the idea of the tint, especially since I plan on adding smoked projectors in the front. Also, will the fog overlays take away from the fog's purpose, because I'm in a area that gets pretty foggy at night. Thanks.

Why would you need to take the light apart. I used nightshades on the outside as the directions indicate and it turned out great.
In my opinion, it is better to do overlays because:
1) You don't run the risk of the tail assembly fogging up due to poor sealing after opening the tails as you would when painting. (although a clear silicone sealent is recommended and almost eliminates the chances of fog)
