my new two tone paint!
Well here it is. Tell me what you think.
YA im just kidding. Time to hit the car wash, sad part is i just washed it on Saturday. I ____ing hate winter.
Any ways i thought i would through up some picks of the new interior fabric.
I know it ha been done before but i have always liked it and figured why not rock t this summer.
I was told Randodes interior was furry before he put in the tweed, but i could not find any picks.
Any ways here it is so far.
A pillar
B pillars and belt bracket cover
C pillar and belt bracket cover
Shift boot
Back hatch
It looks better in person, have a ____ hole cammera.
Tonight i am going to tackle the door pannel inserts. I belive i have the basic idea to do then. Cut out the old fabric lay out and cut the new fabric glue down and tuck the edges in.
Dose any one have any pointers for them? Anything else i need to do .
The headliner but that will have to wait till he snow melts or i can find a garage to do it in. I am a little worried about it though. I used 3m super 90 to secure the suade and it was a real _____ to remove from the pillars, with the headliner being kinda flimsy i dont wont to damage it. Has anyone removed a headliner? What could i use to soften up the glue?
I also plan on wrapping the new sub enclosure in the fur when i get it done.
I will update as i go.

Will that glue respond to heat? A craft-style (not builder-style) heat gun might help. More heat than a hair dryer but much less than contractor grade which can set a fire.
There is also a product called Un-Du which has worked on every type of glue to which I've applied it. It's usually found in office supply stores or places like Hobby Lobby. It comes with a scoop-shaped scraper you use to separate the two surfaces, allowing the Un-Du to more easily get to the glue. It's even archival safe for photos.
Might take a couple of bottles to do a headliner.
My hubby practically walks around with a sticky roller to remove lint from his clothes - your car would send him into freak mode. LOL

Haha, nice! I want to do a fake-fur headliner, but The Boss says it's stupid. I shouldn't have opened my mouth.
Also: as lousy and ugly as our rear wipers are, I'm really glad I haven't removed mine. Anything wagon-shaped without one is a nightmare in climates that get weather.
