If I ever decide to have the front repainted I'm seriously considering going with the clear bra also

The clear bra is a good choice, but in many parts of the country, you may not find an installer. So I would not recommend buying the expensive kit until you have lined up a qualified installer.

After a long search I found someone in my city in Kentucky, who had attended a day's training at the vendor's HQ in Texas, but said he was not qualified to do an xB bumper until he returned for more training this Fall. He said after the training, he would charge $500 to install the full kit that I had bought that covered the whole front of the car.

I may just find the best quality clearcoat and redo it with that. Then just use my Colgan for long trips. I'm thinking higher quality clear will do better than the soft OEM BS.
