Installation was, as documented by the owner's manual, a breeze.

I don't like Silverstars here in the US, nor any of the blue-tinted bulbs- they make it harder for you to see at night. Yes, that's scientifically proven. I wanted something either white or close to stock, yet brighter. Of course, something that didn't require me to power these bulbs with a nuclear plant or drop HIDs in there.

Essentially, a clear, bright bulb that outperforms stock.

I had read a review of these bulbs some time ago on another forum and they got the thumbs up.

Headlights are an exterior item. Moving post to aero & exterior

 

Although this is an item that can be for both the xB and xA, I own an xB, so this should have been moved to the xB Owner's Forum, not the xA's.

Keep in mind, though....... I ordered the Phillips bulbs, yet received Silverstars "Clear +50%." When I spoke to a rep at the shop, he explained that they are both 50% brighter and clear, no significant difference between brands. I definitely can tell a difference in the high beams, a smaller difference in lows.

Still an upgrade in my book.
