Default problem with bbist tail lights

i just recently bought and installed the bbist black L.E.D. tail lights...while i was driving outa of town my VCS, ABS, Traction control, cruise control and brake lights turned off. i just took it to toyota today to have it check and it was a blown stop fuse that caused the problem. they replaced it with a new fuse and it blew again. that was the reason all of the things turned off...anyways so they pulled the power going to the tail lights and everything was fine except for one thing. i had no working tail lights, which i cant drive around like that....so did anybody have a problem with aftermarket tail lights. im thinking there is to much power going through to the LEDs so which is causing the fuse to bust. is there a way around this whole mess or am i gonna hafta return these tail lights. could use some assistance in rerouting the wiring so the fuse wont bust.

I had the the same thing happen, when I put the lights in one of the wires got pinched and caused a short. All I did was splice in a new wire and made sure not to let the wires get messed again when I put them in.

LEDs typically draw less power than incandescents. So there's either a short in the tails themselves, or in the wiring. Process of elimination should tell you which side is the problem.
