hey, you can go really wide, width usually isn't the issue, offset means everything,
im dropped on df210 aswell, I'll get pics to show you

Pics as I promised, hope it helps guys/girls.

Very little lip=rolled fender

Lip is gone for more wheel clearance

How it looks from the outside... theres no damage done to the outside body

Lowered on DF210

I 'm gonna go wash my box now, because it needs it.

ok dude, its actually alot easier to see because it is dirty.. ok on the first picture
the crazy dirty part is the inside of the wheel well, and of coarse the outside to
the right of that... well you see the lip in the middle (see how thin it is) its rolled.
now go outside and look at your rear fender lip and compare it to mine...

yours will probably be like 1/2 inch or more
mine is like less than 1/4 inch.

hope this helps bro... if not let me know

ok, thanks.. just trying to see the difference between the actual fender and the plastic piece on top of it. So did you use the baseball bat method? Loving the wheels btw

no I actually did it with the tool, because I started doing it with a baseball
bat and thought I was cracking paint, but later after rolling with the tool
I realized it was only the Rubbery foam piece that was cracking which is
not important and I ended takeing it off anyways... If you wanna use the
baseball bat, go for it, either way it wont hurt to be careful while doing it

be careful, use a heat gun, don't blame any of us if you mess up your car....with that said, theres a lot of info on the net about it ...examples:

http://www.vtec.net/articles/view-ar...rticle_id=3511

http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=321090

i'm not responsible for what happends
Indeed use a heat gun Scion's paint cracks away from the metal easily...ask someone who was a bit lazy and didnt heat a spot and bent the steel just a bit far for the paints preference (CRACK) ....blushes...knows better
I had a shop roll my rear fenders today and there was some slight paint cracking on the inside portion. What's the best way to stop future cracking or rusting? The guy at the shop said just to use the factory touch up paint on it, and it shouldn't spread to the outside. It was a reputable shop who has rolled lots of scions, but I was a little worried when they were done with both sides in a little over 30 min. I'm just hoping that there were two guys working on it doing both sides at the same time.

Yup just touch it up. You must protect the bare metal from exposure to stop rust thats all. The only thing you can do that would be a better repair of these cracks is to repaint the fender that is cracked....a big expense for something you really can't see.

Mine is being done right now too, checked on it and they used a thick black paint to seal it where it cracked on the inside. Still drying, will pick up in around an hour...

Bonus: Body guy says that the rolling process also pushed the fender out around 3/16", which friggin rocks... another 8mm or so of clearance! Woop...

Got it back today... problem solved! You can see at some angles that the lip flares out slightly more than before, but you wouldn't notice if you didn't know.

Now have to put the 205's on the rear like they were (195's back in front), drop the front another .5" with Monroes and I'll have the stance I've wanted for 2 years

Thanks for the info!

I assume that with your air bags, and to set it pretty much on the ground that you had to take off the spash guards in the front wheel wells. If you did, did you also spray any kind of protectant or do anything for protection of the inner fenders?

What offset wheels are you running?

I did not remove the splash guards altho i did trim them some right by the fender bumper joint. You need to remember my box seems to sit lower because my kit is over 1" taller than the stock lips so it sits 1"+ closer to the ground at any height. My wheels are 18x7.5 42MM offset

what cracks is the rubber inner part, not the actual body paint it self...

no need to roll front fenders, they already are

If you want to tuck as low as I tuck with my wheel size and offset, IT IS necessary to roll the front fenders. Only the forward part forward of the factory rolled part of the fender is a clearance problem. The paint here on mine was weak it came off the steel at a relatively moderate bend.

These pics are from a while back. Careful when rolling fenders, it's easy to pull out the fender a bit. Mine bulges a bit. You can see it in the pics. It's not too big of a deal, but some people might notice.

Damn stan, that's amazing... how do you still not rub with that offset? Any camber?

No camber! Just a really good fender rolling - real flat! Maybe there was a little pull too, I don't know. The stretched tires helped too. (FYI 17x8 +25/15, 205/45 tires in the pics. No rubbing with 16x9 +30/20, 205/50 either.)

One thing that really helped was the coilovers. I had Blitz coils in these pics at max down (2.75"+ drop). I set the 8-way adjustable shocks to 3 (1 being hardest). It was a nice and stiff/smooth ride with no bouncing around. It just didn't go low enough.

My current setup is different. 2.5" drop with Cusco coils, camber all around, 15x8 +12/6 steelies, 195/55-15 tires. I can go 1.5" lower, but it's too low for city driving.
