Default Push Bumpers for the XB?

Hey kids,

Push bumpers are the little paded bumpers you see on cop cars, so they can push start cars without taking damage. My scion is one of the only actual reliable cars in my circle of friends, and I'd kinda like to have something like this on it, (and I like the aesthetic)

Anyone know where I can get a set that will fit the xB?

Thanks =)

I'm not thinking we have the frame to allow for pushing. Maybe you can just pull them out using your tow ring.

The xB was not designed to tow anything.

Says so in the owners manual...

You'll take damage to the bumpers regardless, since the bumper covers really aren't attached to the actual bumpers.You'll flex that cover all the time, and its only a matter of time before it would show wear. Most Police cars still have real bumpers.

You would have to bore hole thru the plastic bumper cover and attached the push bars to the steel rebar somehow. Not a good or practical idea. Late model police cars have plastic bumpers much like our xB's...their push guards are mounted like I describe above. Big holes cut in the plastic and foam with a metal block between the rebar and the visible push guard...all bolts to the rebar.
