Question on the bBist
im looking for something like Steve has on the bBist.
if you look at the pic by where the windshield wipers are, is a piece of (i assume) fiberglass. anyone know who sells these? and how much?
picture for reference

that is a fabulous style bonnet wing.
bbist did sell them them...

note that these do not fit that well, it took a day to get mine to fit perfect.
and you'll need to paint it (as if you didn't know...)

no, i got mine from a bbist reseller.
you can not sand it too much, it is only a thin fiberglass shell. it tends to lift up at the outter edges...if you look at the blue car, notice where the hood/fender meet. the hood part is up by the fender causing gaps and a warped look.
this also makes the side wings look too low. so i had to build them up too...
i ended up sanding too much of the wing away and craked mine. (this was a blessing by accident) i was able to re-do the seam so it would lay flatter.
then i built up the areas where gaps still existed with bondo.
about 1.5 days of work for me to get it where i was pleased with it. not too high that thw wipers were blocked, but layed completely flat. then made new attachement groves.
and the original Fab ones need work too, no body kit is really able to just slap on a car. they all need fitment time. (at the time i got mine, bbist was about the same price as the Fab ones.)
for the price this is a good deal.
you can prolly find some on eBay too...
