What about the windsheild wiper blades? I still have my original ones. The still work okay, but I'm ready for new ones. I want OEM because they've lasted over two years and I live in Louisiana, and I use them...

Don't know if I should create my own post but I have sort of the same issue with my '06 Xb. Except stupid me went and got an Anco rear window wiper that I thought would be universal. I went to take the wiper off of the arm thinking it would be the same as replacing the front wiper blades since I never owned a vehicle with rear wipers. I was doing this out in the parking lot and I was in a hurry. It wasn't coming off of the arm nicely and I ended up snapping the wiper in half (not the arm just the wiper blade assembly). I figured what the hell I have a replacement anyway and continued to break it more until the little pegs that seat in the holes of the arm broke and I got it off.
I then go to put on my fancy new replacement only to find out there is no way to attach it. I go back in the store and they say they don't have a replacement for this model. I then call the Scion dealer I bought it from and they tell me that they just use rubber refills and transfer me to the parts department. The parts guy then tells me I have to get the whole arm to get the wiper and will cost $80.
I see on a lot related forum threads that people just reply to take the whole thing off, use some RainX and be done with it. That really doesn't work here in MN where 2/3 of the year your vehicle is getting splattered with road salt and road grime after any snow fall. That back window clouds up pretty fast and RainX isn't good enough for keeping the dirt specks from collecting.
Is there any aftermarker wiper that will fit the 06 wiper arm? Anyone rig something to work with aftermarket wipers? All experience I have ever had with refills has been pretty poor anyway, with the rubber gradually sliding out of the blade. Anyone that has removed their rear wiper looking to sell me their's for a good price?
