Default Removed Rear Wiper and Emblems (pic)

I am almost running out of cheap mods
By the way, I broke many of the pins that keep the inside hatch cover held on. Is there any way I can buy replacements?

I thought shaved was absolutely flat, meaning not even a trunk handle cover and junk.

Or is it just debadgeing and removing the wiper?

yeah they have an inch and the next highest is 1-1/8 which is too big... so i put in the 1 incher and then with the inside hatch cover removed i just used pliers and meanuvered all the prongs on the plug to keep it in...

looks good bro!...I did the same this past week, but at the same time I went ahead and painted my rear tails, and did the super soaker mod to the rear windshield nozzle. But Im suprised you broke the clips- i didnt break a single one. The trick is to loosen them all then finish removing them once they are all out of place. Buuuut too late to tell you that, oh and I lost one of mine if it makes u feel better?

You can sand and paint the stainless plug so it doesn't stand out. I painted mine camo to match the car.

Here's the quick version.

1. Remove the rear wiper. Flip up the cover at the base and I think it's a 10mm nut. Most people have found the wiper is tough to get off. If you have a gear puller, life will be easy. If you don't, it's going to take some pulling and maybe some oil to get it free. That's the hardest part.
2. Open the hatch and remove the rear panel. Use a small screwdriver to pry the plugs out but be careful not to destroy them because they have to go back in.
3. Unplug the motor.
4. Unbolt the motor. If I remember right it's 2 12mm bolts.
5. Slide wiper post out of the grommet.
6. Remove the rubber grommet from the hatch.
7. Plug the hole.

It is turned up to spray. And since mine is a 06.5, it has the 2 nozzles so I get a stream on both sides of the car
Hey so your in HB?....Gotta keep an eye out for your car now!

I found it at Ace Hardware in the specialty fasteners and such aisle. It was in a grey box with many different sizes. I believe I used the 1 inch.
