OK, while I was at the dealership this weekend having my first oil change and rear bumper applique installed, I confirmed with my salesman that the new xB RS3.0 color will be the bright green from the Vitz. He's not sure what equipment will be on it or how many will be built, but he did confirm the color.
AND the tC RS2.0 will be the Speedway Blue from the X-Runner Tacoma (again, no info on equipment, but color confirmed).

I was looking at xB's(The xA is actually my wife's daily driver) and green is my favorite car color(Current car is a green '96 bmw 318ti) so if this turns out to be true...I may be getting one of these in the future.

from the shoulder, but the tree line gets in the way. I'm trying to find a better vantage

There's one before Spaghetti junction too. If heading south, it's on the right. It's tough to see with the trees in the way. I think the car has a lot of shading on it, so it disguises the color.

ahhh, speculation...woot. i just hope they don't fumble it like they did the RS 2.0 xA. that was supposed to be speedway blue, then it was that purple, that looks exactly like indigo ink. bleh.

I assure you it its a new color and will be available in mid year and that is why it is not a new for 06 yet!!!!!!!!

Actually I was at the dealer meeting, and I spoke to Steve the Scion guy from Califorina afterwards about it in more detail. The meeting wasn't specifically about the new RS series and that part was less than ten minutes of conversation-- but it was mentioned that the new RS color would be a green off the Vitz, they didn't actually name it. They also said the RS 2.0 would be blue, but specifically said "no" when someone in the audience asked it if would be the Speedway Blue.
The '06 colors [Shadow Mica and Salsa Red Pearl] won't go into production until December and won't hit the lots until sometime in January. Which is a real bummer.

It was stated that it would not be a rs is what i understood from the people i dont remember a steve though! Which meeting was you at? Also it was stated that the colors would be painted in november and on the lot in december i thought !
