Default Scion xB Chevy/GMC Front End Conversion?

Has anyone heard of this before? It's basically a total front end kit for various Japanese cars to convert them to look like a 70's GMC/Chevy Suburban.

I saw this on Jalopnik:

http://jalopnik.com/384706/the-japan...-american-iron

Also check out the galleries on blow-net:

??????? | Blow ? ??????????????????????????

Anyone know of a source for a first gen xB kit like this? Thanks!

yahoo.jp is the first place to look. The freight will probably cost more than the kit itself, but it certainly would be unique stateside.

I saw this on jalopnik as well, and I think it's the greatest thing ever. I'd love to have a miniature 67-73 Suburban.

I have always wanted to do this. You would think that someone stateside would make a copy of that kit.
maybe someday.

That is the greatest thing I have ever seen. I have a '69 GMC and have actually pictured my xB this way in my head before. I can't belive it actually exists. I would love to have one to park all 3 together.

FYI, while very cool, those aren't built off xBs. They are built off the Suzuki Lapin.
