Default Shaved Rear Hatch

I'm thinking of shaving everything off the rear hatch becuase the areo kit has a place for the rear plate. does anyone have any pics of this, and also how would i pop the hatch if i took everything off? thx

if your going to shave the whole hatch it would you probably just need to buy a new one. thats what most people do. either way its going to be expensive

wait did you just tell him to buy a new hatch then shave it? thats how i understood it and that makes no sense at all.

there are a few people who have shaved the hatch...i'll soon be one of them. and i plan on re-routing the hatch popper to the left rear doorish. like open the door and down near the seat where the interior trim panel is, im going to rout it to that.

im 99.9% sure no one makes an aftermarket shaved hatch...although that would be a neat idea..the whole glass re-attachment for the do it yourselvers would be interesting.

willangford, what kit are you getting. im looking for a rear bumper with the LP slot in it but i dont really know waht i want..throw up a picture if you can por favor.

I was looking around for it but all I found was a carbon fiber hatch without the wiper and emblems. I wish I could remember where I saw a fully shaved one.
