Shaved Rear Hatch
#23
On shaved hatches I once saw one on this site that someone was selling, it was carbon fiber and shaved, but haven't seen it since or anyone that sells them. Also be prepared to pay for a lot of body work. That kit is for a 1st gen bB and the bumpers will not fit well at all without jdm 1st gen bumpers (the first gen bB is 6 cm shorter in the front bumper area, fitment will require modification or removal of the metal safety bumpers behind your current ones). And since it is also for a 1st gen bB and shorter front to back it'll be some work to cut/lengthen areas. On another note, you could try to order the jdm 1st gen hatch and handle assembly. I've already gone through all this nonesense and just forwarning others, there are TONS of 1st gen kits out there, but most don't deal with it cause of all the parts needed or extensive bodywork. Do a search for my posts or for veilside and you'll see what I mean. I did everything jdm and the kit still has issues (or maybe it's just me)

i will be forwarding that onto the us distribution person. we are going to test fit EVERYTHING before hand and if there are mega issues then i wont do it because it has to be PERFECT.
one other thing though is this kit is by no means a cheap kit and in talking with several people they say fitment is good, but i will be doublechecking later on this week.
