i've also noticed that there is an overlay that has become crazed as well i am thinking it's a lexan overlay over the acrylic lens that has crazed due to uv and heat(i live in florida) i bought a mother polishing ball and that seemed to clear up most of it. i'll need to remove them to get the rest

I had fogging issues, but nothing a little silicone didn't fix. I don't know how much rain you get out there, but driving at night in the rain with 8000k bulbs you aren't going to be able to see much. I swapped my 6000k's for the 4300k for that reason, it makes a huge diff.

EZ, with the rain the visibility is not good with that color temp. I have hids in the fogs too. I might try the 3000k.

My sonars fogged. So I took mine apart(pretty easy) and painted the inside housing torched penny to match and resealed. Haven't fogged since

I also used a trick we use up here to keep your goggles from fogging when your snowboarding. you take one drop per lens of dish soap on the inside and whipe all around until its clear again. You won't have anymore fogging

I don't know why it just works

how is the light intensity compared to stock with HID's with the projector lens...is it a really really really big difference or is it so/so

The difference between stock and the sonars is like night and day. The cut off is perfect, no scatter glare. Once you get them sealed up you will be thrilled.

so when they come in just go ahead and pull the lens out and re-silicone it and i should not have any fogging issues at all...they are a 9006 bulb right and not a h4, guess i should order some new bulbs first

You don't have to pull the bumper completely off but you do have to unscrew it until it is about 3 inches lower. There are only like 4 bolts and one clip that hold it to the car so it only takes a couple of minutes. Then lining it back up is a snap. Look in the tech section for how to remove bumper.
