Save yourself the trouble and seal it before you put it on man. It's extra extra easy and Im not good with cars neither.

Well ... because I am a chump of a mechanic / installer ... I opted to sell the Sonars and just installed SilverStars in the heads, fogs, and turn signals instead. They look really good. But, as far as the fogging goes, even the factory lights can / will fog under certain circumstance (see owners manual). JB

Get some silicone and seal up the edgage. The Sonar are not sealed when you buy them online. I had the same problem when I first put them on, but once I sealed them up, they didn't fog up ever again.

I wonder if I've ever seen your xB in Long Beach. But do the headlights have holes in them to keep them from fogging up? I have the Sonar taillights and I have holes in them to keep them from fogging.
