Default Stubby antenna

Just curious has anyone bought and installed this stubby antenna?

I just bought it and now am wondering if I should've bought the Honda S2000 antenna everyone seems to be getting. I am worried about losing reception.

Any advice would be appreciated!

I would've gotten the S2000 antenna. At most, it's 25 bucks from your local Honda dealer. It fits nicely on the tC's mast. The ones at Carccesorry won't fit flush like the S2000 antenna...

TakumiJr has the I Series antenna in black on his xA. I think his xA looks chubbier with the short 3.5" antenna compared to my "JDM Short Antenna" which is 8". (I think the S2000 Antenna is 6")

I did get the S2000 antenna from H&A. No loss in reception, and it looks great. Should last a long time, too. I've seen too many of those stubby rubber antennas that look like crap after a year or so. I've also heard that the very short all-metal antennas do reduce reception.

Just got the antenna from carcessory.com. It is smaller than I thought - fits great and I really like the way it looks! I don't know about reception yet though.

Will let you know if the reception sucks.

I got the S2000's antenna and I wasn't that happy since it didn't fit flush.

I found this one on eBay, bought it and got it today in the mail, and this one fits flush and the texture of this antenna is like the OEM one which is shiny so the looks goes perfectly with the OEM base unlike the ruberry flat black texture of the S2k's.

Here it is: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...sPageName=WDVW

Good luck with that one. The base on the "JDM Short Antenna" is the same size as your 16" stock antenna. I think the s2000 antenna fits so much nicer on the tC than the stock or JDM Short Antenna.

No loss of reception for me when i got my jdm style short antenna. The one i got is 3.5". I didn't like how the stock antenna was really long. It seemed like an r/c car with it...haha.
