correct me if i'm wrong but the evo style was one of the first full bodykits released for the xb. not including lip kits.

really i know the owner and he is a good friend of mine. like ppl r saying there is nothing wrong with the kit for being different, half the ppl in here probly like the fab kit but when u do car shows like he does when a judge sees the same kit over and over he gets tired of it and something like that pops into his eyes,

anyway its different and just like u may think its ugly alot of ppl say that about the scions but u still have one dont u

Alright I'm a friend of Courtneys and i think his xB is one of the best out there. He has put alot of work into car to make it what it is today. This car has gone through an amazing change since he first got it.

Yers the Evo kit is different, but if you don't like it then say so and move on. Don't flame the car and the owner. Like others have said, this is a show car so he needs to have something that stands out among the crowd.

Not that I'm flaming you, your car, or your work. . . I could care less. What you do to your car is your own business. . . the responses you get should be expected. But again, I really couldn't care.

But the one thing I'm wondering: is being in The Fast and the Furious 3 REALLY something to brag about? It's like starring in a fat midget porno.

The first movie was ok. . . I'll admit it. . . it was different. Although I don't appreciate how the movie totally rips on asians as the bad guys (even though that's where the rice trend started), and the hero is always some surfer dude pretty boy. Most modders DO NOT look like Paul Walker. They might as well cast Jackie Chan as moses in the next Bible movie.

2 Fast 2 Furious was a horrid barfathon. Super fast pink cars driven by fish faced models, a plot weaker than dick cheney's aim, and a third generation eclipse as a hero car? Why? The 2nd gen maybe. . . that's just sucking up to the sponsor. I don't know of any 3rd gen eclipses that can even hold a candle to a modified EVO.

Bottom line, it's cool you dig your car, and I encourage you to do whatever you like, if it makes you happy. But don't think you're better than everyone else if you star in a retarded movie and a few magazines. I've seen some stupid stupid cars in magazines (I'm sure you have too), and being in one doesn't mean squat. But if you're happy with your car because you like it, then kudos to you. Keep up the mods.

it's the narrow minded people like this that get great forums like this killed. Many people have left this great forum because some kid wants to bash everyone. It's a sad thing when we all just can't be happy for each other when we get new mods. Sure, it might not be your cup of tea, but kourtney here wanted to try something different. As far as the movie is concerned, Kourt's car was RENTED WITH PAY from UNIVERSAL PICTURES. That's right he got paid for letting them borrow his car and giving him exposure. I don't see anything wrong with that. Hell, my car got rented too.

His car is helping scion get more EXPOSURE to the mass public. That was one of the goals he had for the car.

Like i said, it's sad that the forum has come to this amd people that don't like his car can't just say "its not my style" vs. "holy crap look at this big pile of dookie and screw him for being used for the biggest ricer movie!". well hey u know what? YOU WATCHED BOTH THOSE MOVIES. yep thats right, you watched it. Kourtney never said the car being in the film made him the shizzle dizzle kourtdizzle, no he never said that. FF3 was a bonus to fixing up his ride and it was recognized as a great car for them to rent. oh btw the cars on set included signals r34 and g35, a-spec usa's drift cars and time attack cars, volks and usa's project mu s13 and s2000, amongst a host of other high end manufacture cars. are those cars rice? no, but they were extras in the movie as well.

Okay to defend myself (because I feel compelled to)... Yea so you don't like fast and furious.. oh well I didn't make the movie, ask the theater for you money back or return your dvds to blockbuster or tower records. I'm not trying to say I or my car is better than anyone elses... At one time all I had interior lighting... BUT i don't go out and bash people because I have a different taste. Hell you can ask anyone I know I bought the kit because it was different, I didn't get it because I liked it.
