And yet it looks as if you have driven the gothbox into the ground...and back out

I have always loved that style it takes alot of ***** to scrape the shiny paint off I'm letting the bugs and rock chips do mine slowly!

This is good news. I expect to get at least 300,000 miles out of the box. It's about to hit 40,000 miles. I maintain it like no other. Hahaha!

COOL!!!
I should be there by the end of the year with "Keiko". At 142,000 on my 04' 5-speed and still averaging 32 MPG on nearly all original parts. (Renovating before the winter)

In one month, I will have had my box 4 years, still looks new, & with only 25k miles on it, I could keep it for decades I imagine....

I have just switched to Royal Purple but before I've just used standard "on sale" 5-30w and changed it at about 4-5000 miles with FRAM filters. On the Royal Purple I'll be changing it at 7K with a filter change in the middle.

Very nice! I see there is a couple more boxes that are up there with some miles on them!! I'm probably going to 250K and going to pop in one of the 20-30K JDM motors in barring any unforseen incedents!

I use only synthetic oil. Generally AmesOil 0W30 $17/qt but good for 20K miles! or when my pocket was a little light, Mobile 1 Extended 5w30 formula.

I had a couple pm's on how the motor is going and MPG questions so I'll share with you all. Here is an average day, not too bad the MPG is on the high side I am usally around 32 but today I watched it a bit. The drive had a few hills, alot of stop and go. I'm running 205/50/15's with 35psi no intake just an axle back and a heavy foot when the road opens up. I am ready for another 4000K oil change this weekend but I'm going to go out to Formula D thanks to the Scion VIP crew so it might have to wait one week!
