I rolled over 100K last month on mt way to Chicago for HIN in gothbox, and its an 04.
I would have hit it long time ago, but when I bought DOA, it sat for like 3 months and I never drove it.
well I am at almost 102K now, but I hope to see that 200K one day as well.

Did you have to change the timing chain anywhere in there?

Runs great, ticks a little at idle but I have hear a lot of them doing the same, motor shakes a bit while in gear at a stop but I have some new Energy Suspensions motor mounts to hopefully stop that.
Yes I am putting my turbo setup through its paces for testing purposes on my box. And yes the front end could use some paint!

Here are some of the things that have been changed along the way…
I flushed the coolant system and added water wetter –Sitting in traffic with the AC on while going uphill I saw 225F!
New battery – Old one was getting slow in the winter
New belts – Stopped the squealing AC / Defroster
Many front pads and rotors, the rears are still stock! – Most of it due to stop and go warping the rotors the first set lasted 80,000!
Transmission oil changed along with filter and added a tranny cooler
A few bent rims and more than a few tires!
4 Windshields

Toyota was smart... no timing belt! timing gears my friend

I'm at 160K on the 04 toaster only because I was working outside the country for 4 months last year. Thought I would have crossed the 200K line by now. Summer's coming!

I think he meant they were smart not to use a belt!

Still under 50,000 (started with 12,000 on it over 2 years ago, now at 42,xxx). I change things just because I want to (spark plugs, transmission fluid, ceramic brake pads, springs, header....)

I don't think anything besides the oil and tranny fluid has actually needed any work.

2 windshields (1 due to an asphault puck, 1 when it was almost new because the seal from a broken windshield before I got it was failing)

like 4 pairs of tires-I rotate the worn fronts to the back and then pick up used ones for the front....
