Very keen to get an xB. I've been looking for several years and now near to pulling the trigger.
How does a Release 4.0 strike all of you? Is that a desirable model? Or not what was hoped as the last of the 1st Gen?
Think I've found one in great condition for under KBB and Edmunds.
Thanks for any comments.

all cars are individuals.... could be a great car to own...and could be your worst nightmare.... On averages, I would rebuy my car in a heartbeat....
How many miles... what overall condition etc ??

Condition appears excellent. 80,000 miles almost exactly. Nice custom wheels (Sport Max Racing, 001 Black) with Nexen N3000's, manual with the Tazo ****, iPod jack, neon interior lights.
Only things wrong is back windows do not operate (found a TSB online for that) and hatch handle is taped up (found an improved replacement for that online, bout $70) Runs like a scalded ape (but I compare to my diesel daily driver).
I'd probably add a cruise control, fogs and maybe a roof rack for kayaks. Maybe put in my euro horn.
I was just wondering how the xB community likes the RS 4. Color is love/hate I think. Original option was almost $1700 for the release package, which I think was a lot for what you got. (old school on money; why I'm looking used)
Appreciate thoughts, ideas, opinions - anything.

DONE !!!
Got the RS 4.0 !
Now that I've cleaned it up a bit, steamed the seats and all, it is better than I thought. It also has some sort of optional "dust cover" that drapes over the rear seat backs and covers the back cargo area. Looks waterproof, maybe to carry a dog back there or dirty cargo.
Wheels look real nice and the Nexen tires too.
Just waiting for the title so I can get the tags.

Seriously: it gets good mileage; it's fun to drive; it's EASY to get into and out of . . . and the older I get, the happier I am that I bought mine (an '06 Camo with a stick).
