Pictured is a Curtis Hitch with Harbor Freight trailer and custom rail system, fabricated and welded by Moi. Trailer weighs 218lbs, with ~50lbs of steel weight for add-ons and rails system. With the two bikes shown in picture, total weight is 600lbs. Tongue weight is 61 lbs. The xB drives as if there are four 200lb adults in the car. No problem with acceleration., although there's no mistaking the fact you've got a load.

Hey thats awesome. How does it pull up the hills?
I guess I will still keep my F250 powerstroke for hauling the bikes.

the bb is rated to tow 1500 lbs.

 

No problem, though I would not tow any more than what was pictured (600lbs). IOW, one full sized dirt or sport bike, or two trials bikes (my gasgas pro weighs 140 lbs). The biggest obstacle at highway speed is wind resistance -- and you can hear the motor working to overcome it. Gotta love that Borla drone!
