After Market Cruise Control
#2
Its called a cinder block. Your local Lowes or Home Depot should be able to help you out.
Seriously, there was an aftermarket cruise out on the market a when the box first came out. I believe it sold for $150? Problem was, it kept getting stuck .. so that may be the reason you arent finding one so easily now.

Look for the Rostra cruise control. Costs about $180 now. It's the one that was recalled, but they've fixed the problem. A lot of dealers apparently installed them in 1G xBs.
I put one in my box, and it works very well. I did have some problems with the installation, however.

i installed the Rostra this evening, took me about 2.5 hours and i was taking my time so i think thats pretty good timing.
the only problem i had was with the instructions telling me which wire to tap into for the power source, i tapped into the white/black wire in the slot it said to tap into, but i was supposed to tap into the black/white wire on the opposite side of the plug, about a 5 minute fix though.
i got mine off of ebay for about $185 shipped and it even came with the cordless switch panel which is a plus.
