looks like you're in business... i'm not a fan of those blue splice clips you got but as long as they work for you, so be it.

using the array as the turn signal looks SO slick. you're gonna love it. 1000x better than any "plug&play LED bulb" garbage people are slapping in the turn signal slot of these lights. enjoy...

I know. It came with the blue connectors. They are a pain to get all the wires in and a solid connection too. They have been working for me in other locations in the car though.

I'm curious. Since there's only one converter, do you have to run wires from one light to the other, like under or around the rear compartment?

Nobody has supplied good pictures for this mod.

Yea I have the tail light converter down under the floor and wires running to each light behind/under the interior panels. All completely invisible when installed.

I didn't take any pictures either I don't think.. Just imagine wires neatly ran under the floor.

I came really close to doing this mod as it is explained in the thread, but I couldn't get over the amount of wiring needed to splice into the lights, and everything going to one module. I nearly bought 2 trailer harnesses, one for each light, so I could tuck them away in the openings on either side.

Then, I found these: Tail as Turn? Module, DIY | FlyRyde. Looks to do exactly the same thing, only in a much smaller, cheaper (trailer converters at Walmart are about $22 each now) and easier to install. Ordered a set today, and will post back once I have them in.

The modules in the above link are awesome! They are $10 for two modules, and you splice into 3-4 wires per side, depending on if you repurpose the old turn signal as a backup light. Installation took all of a half hour. Very happy right now!

Hey Bass,

The link you provided takes you to the website, but there is no product shown. Can you post some pics of the module if possible. Also, can you post a short video of the setup working? Thanks!

I fixed the link above, but the new page is here. The pics they have online are older... each module is now a little black box. Here is a really short video... the 'before' is the right taillight, and 'after' is the left.
