Go for it. It's a lot more practical than a two seater convertible. I bought mine for the same reason, at 46.

I AM 55 AND MY WIFE DOESN'T LIKE THE YELLOW BOX. SHE'S GLAD I BOUGHT THIS INSTEAD OF THE NEW VET, BECAUSE I SAVED HER ABOUT 40 GRAND.

39 next month. Just bought mine last Friday. It's our family commuter/BART car, but that still won't stop me from a few mods in due time.

58. I like the xb because it's the freshest design on the road. It's not over-powered or trying to be over-macho. People in general seem to like it a lot. It's very cool in a non-threatening environmental way. It is the "ANTI_HUMMER"!
