Default ajcadoo's Trailer Hitch-INSTALLED! WOO!

Took me awhile. About two hours total. Didn't even have to remove the muffler to get the hitch installed. Here is a link to the hitch I have: http://www.etrailer.com/p-28501.html

Well worth the price, and etrailer.com did a great job shipping the next business day.

Here is a vid for kicks and giggles:

And, I hope you understand what sarcasm is...please tell me you do!

Nice video......but did you read your Scion Manual? The xB is not recommended for towing, although many owners do no one has done a 2500 lb boat. I have seen up to @900lbs trailer and gear. That's gonna be a tough one if you are gonna try and pull that boat out of the water when its time to trailer it at the end of the day.
PDF page 135, if you break anything it will not be covered.

Towing capacity
Scion does not recommend towing a
trailer with your vehicle. Your vehicle
is not designed for trailer towing.

If you guys knew the whole story, it involves every towing thread and lots of flaming. then the sarcasm would be understood.
I laughed so hard when I watched the video though. "looks dandy" lol

Anyway, how about an update on the towing of the jetski?

Cool to see someone adding some functionality to their vehicle. I added a hitch to my tC and am sure glad. I mainly use it for my 3-bike carrier, but wired up for tail lights since we're planning a cross-country trip this summer. I'm renting the smallest cargo trailer that'll pretty much just tail behind the car. I also used E-trailers and got a draw-tite brand hitch for $90 shipped. Nothing but good stuff from them.

LOL

You forgot "TOYOTAS IN EUROPE ARE USED TO TOW S--- ALL THE TIME, THEREFORE ALL CARS CAN TOW ALL LOADS LOLOLOLOL!"

it's sound logic. :p

this made me giggle. I've thought of adding a hitch to my box...I just can't justify the price. :p As much fun as it would be towing a teeny little trailer around, most of the stuff I have to haul fits INSIDE the box just fine...

So, in order to do this, I would need to purchase a jet-ski, also. How much did THAT run you? :D
