Stick to your guns!!!! Don't buy something you don't want now. How do you know that is THE armrest your want? There are other armrests you may like better. Move slow. Sure, it's an inconvenience but you will like yourself better for it if you hold your ground.

Call other dealerships and be prepared to share what you learn with this particular dealership.

Around here, on my way to work, I'd be lucky to see an XB on the dealers lot, and if I did, it would be gone by my drive home. I'd buy the car if you want it. You'll probably save $125 in gas over the next month, and enjoy every minute of driving your XB.

xBs are a rare sight in some markets right now with all the press attention and word of mouth advertising. it's a friggin' armrest--if u don't like it, you can re-sell it, prob at a loss but if you don't get the camoflauge you might regret that more. it's $125 and the dealer could sell it really quickly if you walk away from it.

yeah just sell it on here and get some of that money back. or hey u might like the oem armrest. i know i do. all the other armrests don't look right cuz theyre all diufferent materials and fabrics. and to me i dont care about storage. it's a huge car. and i keep my cds in visors in the drivers side map pocket ready for me to pull one out and swap.

So i went ahead and got it. (Woot! xB owner!)
i talked to the sales manager who was more willing to work with me that the sales guy (Who, by the way, looked just like the car salesman from the simpsons, "Old Gil")
He said that he couldn't change the sticker price cause of the covenant whatnot, BUT they have (at this dealership) an up to $100 refferal incentive. so there was another guy buying a corrolla and i went up to him and shook his hand and said "hey, buy a corrolla from Vandergriff"
so i guess i got the armrest to $25. deffinitely worth it.
Lovin' the Box.
now i gotta buy schtuff for it
