bB Headlight question
does anybody have any pics or anything to help me out with the install...
my question is about the turn signal/side markers...the guy i bought my bB headlights from didnt send me the pigtails so i had to buy the 7443 and i need a pic of what to shave off the socket to make the 7443 work.
if you have done this you know what im talking about...please, someone point me in the right direction.

you have to file down one of the tabs on the socket. here is a write up from clubxb. it used to have pics but i dont know what happened to them.

Here is a pic of the 7443, you need to completely file/shave one of the small thick tabs then it will line up.
I put a mark with a sharpie on the socket and on the housing to know where to insert and where to stop turning.( mark it after you find which side goes in right)
If you look at the back of the housing near the socket you will see an Arrow that is the position where the socket is inserted.
The hump on the rim of socket is where to stop at the lock point.
When you eliminate a tab it does not lock so it will continue to turn. If that don't work for you let me know.
