1. Do you really want a name that you'll have to explain to everyone? and...
2. Jesus didn't have any children, so there are no decendants of Jesus. Maybe followers, disciples, or relitives, but not decendants.
1. Well, we already drive cars that we have to explain to everyone so we must not mind explaining.
2. Thats open for debate, at least for me (I'm agnostic)

The Bible was compiled by people who had an interest in making Jesus seem as divine as possible. There are books that have been omitted, and text that has been intentionally held back. Take a look at the Apocrypha if you want a small example.
Don't point at the Bible, especially the King James Version, as the end-all-be-all to Christianity. It's flawed. Very flawed.

The fact that it is even open to debate should prove that there are gaps in the records. For instance, the "James Box" that turned up a few years ago (that has since been proven to be a hoax - a very good hoax, but still a hoax) had an inscription on it that said "James, Brother of Jesus". Serious theologians that have spent their whole lives studying this sort of thing said it was a genuine article.
YET, nowhere in the bible does it say that Jesus had a brother. The explanation was that James was the descendent of Joseph and Mary, but that would make him Jesus' half-brother, not full brother. (That, or Joseph was the father of Jesus, not God, but that possibility was not considered.)
Anyhow, at the end of the day what we know of Jesus comes down to being an article of faith. If we decide to believe the Bible, or what we are taught about it, and if we decide to include some "extra facts" along with it are really questions that everyone has to answer themselves. Telling someone "the way it was" does nothing constructive.
And boy has this thread wandered off of club names...
I always thought "Sciontasy" would be cool for a Scion tC club.

Remember, also, that "virgin" in ancient terms didn't necessarily always mean "hasn't had intercourse." It also meant "young." Top this off with the fact that the Bible you are reading was compiled for a king and is not done by "divine inspiration" and you have plenty of room for argument.
Basing belief on blind faith does nothing constructive. To truly understand what it is you believe, you must question everything you believe. Just keep in mind that at one time the Church said the earth was flat. People were killed for saying it was round.
