Default Bought my 2006 TCM xB today!!! Lots of pics! (56K=NO WAY)

I'm happy to be the first to actually post pics of the 2006 model :D

After months of waiting, I FINALLY GOT ONE!!!

I called a local dealer early this week and asked when would get a 2006 Thunder Cloud Metallic xB automatic. He said they should have a few 2006 xBs coming in either Friday (today) or Saturday.

I called him today and he said he just got it in, so me and my gf went over there and made sure I got first dibs on her

I signed the papers today, but I couldn't drive her home yet, because my insurance agent's office was already closed, and I didn't want to drive her home without proper insurance

I'll have to wait until Monday to take her home, but it's ok... at least I know she's already MINE

My car was FRESH off the truck, it hasn't even prepped yet

Without further adieu... here are the pics of my 2006 Thunder Cloud Metallic xB:

Front view

Side view

Different front view

Rear view (notice the wheel covers aren't even on yet)

Window sticker

Interior views:
Steering wheel is the same, no radio controls here

Some stuff that still need to installed by the dealer

2006 xB Radio

Auxiliary-in jack located by the e-brake

1 mile on the odometer!!!

Thunder Cloud Metallic bug that fell in love with my car

Last but not least, me and my gf

I hope you guys enjoy the pics! :D

ps.
I can't wait til monday!!!

Congrats!

did you notice they need to install that piece on the bottom of the rear bumper?

the stereo looks nicer than the '05. it can play WMA other than MP3 too? thats cool!

Yep, the guy at the Toyota dealer told me they still needed to install/prep quite a few more things (including the bumper) before I can take it home

i dont think the "pause" button exist because most of the stereo from many companies doesnt have them. if you want to pause your CD, just turn off the stereo or just listen to the radio...

IB...that's a beautiful car! I guess we finally disproved the "sterring wheel radio controls/voice activated standard feature" urban myth that had been plaguing the board. Make sure to send us a few pics when it's up and running, with the wheel covers, etc. Oh, and if you don't mind, you could put your girlfriend in them too....

I need to get myself one of those radios with the volume ****. Thanks for the pics! It also appears that there is no "hump" in the middle of the rear floor anymore either.

Nice! How does the volume **** feel? Is it notchy like to you feel it click (i hate this click feeling on aftermarket units) or is it smooth like other stock Toyota control *****?

uh, there is a "hump" in the middle of the rear floor if you look closely. every car have them, except for the mini-van and suv...

with my purchase, the insurance from my old car covered the new car purchase for 30 days, but I couldn't get mine right away because the title hadn't come in with the box, it came by mail instead.

Nice box!
