My Pioneer deck has one, but not the stock radio.

I must just be looking at the picture wrong - to me it looked like it dipped back down in the middle. Oh well.

My wife's 05 Civic has no "hump" in the middle rear of her car, so I was thinking maybe the xB got the same treatment. Wishful thinking I guess.

IBJanky

Just our of curiousity did you ask about salsa red and if it was going to be dec or january before they had them in stock? My wife and I are going to test drive a xB in the next couple weeks or so and talk to a dealer in Oklahoma but we are waiting on salsa red to purchase.

oh, and congrats!

Sorry, but I did not ask about Salsa Red

I've been reading that they should come out in December?

no problem. I have heard that, but I have also heard that they won't go into production until Dec. Meaning we won't get them on a lot until late Jan.
I will talk to a local dealer here in a couple weeks to see what they have to say about the new colors. It is going to be a long freaking fall!

WTG, IBJ! Thanks especially for injecting a dose of reality into the 2006 discussion. Congratulations, and (based on the final pic) not just on the car!

Congrats and welcome, bro! Thanks for the straight poop on the 06 radio...now who wants to sell me theirs after they pull it out to put an aftermarket unit in?

RADIOS: I don't see the 'mute' botton - is it gone?
Of all things Scion - I really like that feature on the base 05 radio.

Civics sit a lot higher than xBs - most FWD cars have the hump so the exhaust doesn't get in the way of the car's ride height.

The final pic we need is of a Salsa Red '06 xB! I'm still waiting to hear confirmation from my dealer that we can even get them before December!

I HATE WAITING!!!

Maybe tomorrow (August) we'll hear some kind of confirmation from a dealer that no longer needs to meet the July quota.

The two new colors (and the retirement of the old) will happen in Dec/Jan, according to my dealership. Also, at that time, the wheel-mounted volume controls should be on the steering wheels.

This is going to be my daily driver

I'm going to be in traffic a lot (I live in Los Angeles), no way in hell I woulda bought a stick

The only time I'd get a stick is if I ever get a high performance weekend toy, and this econobox isn't exactly high performance

I'm in the L.A. area too, and my hubby convinced me to get the stick, and I LOVE it! I've even gotten used to driving it in traffic. But I understand! Anyway, congrats on your purchase! I just got mine in May, and I kinda wish I would've waited for the '06. Once I caught the bug, I just couldn't wait! You're going to love it!
