They are so that you can be towed if you need it, not for you to tow something.

Not really sure where the flat bed driver would tie down with these removed so I may put the driver side on back on just incase.

Default Brackets

Yeah, I looked for those brackets, finally found them. You can't see them on my box the ground effects cover them pretty good.

[quote="mrfuzzy4"]theres the remove hubcaps get chrome trim rings and chome nut covers and a chrome center pice for like 80 bucks u got new rims!

OHHHH! take off that snorkle! sounds better and in theory it adds horsepower and milage! quote]

Beginner mod-er here - I found the trim rings on ebay for $60 and the nut covers for $20, but what is the Center Piece and where can I find it?

Also, what is a "snorkle"?

These may be dumb questions, but I guess I'd rather ask questions BEFORE I mess something up, heh.

the snorkle is the intake for the engine. when you look inside of your xB, you should see a fist thick ribbed black plastic hose just to the right of the engine in front of the black intake box. know where you put in your new air filter when you buy a K&N one? (u know u wanna) its attached to that. it just takes a little wiggling and its loose! it reduces engine noise and... im not sure, but it really does help. makes a nicer noise...

that help explain it? if not, i can try to find a link to a page, but i think i described it pretty well for not being able to look at it.

and the caps... im not sure. i remember some people saw them around... look for center caps...

Thanks! That was easy! I just removed it, took me all of 3 minutes, and I'm a complete beginner when it comes to work under a hood, hah.
