Default Clear turn signals that turn amber when in use?

As the subject says...where can I get that type of bulb? Are they even available? And what are they called? I did the *clear your corners* for my headlights on my xB, but I really don't like the amber look when the car is parked.

Thanks!

X2 The ones I'm using are made by Pilot and are chrome when off and amber when lit.

for the front go to the local autozone/pepboys/autoparts store. Sylvania makes a 2057 bulb that is chrome when off and amber when lit. For the rear go to Autolumination like someone suggested earlier. Almost every replacement I have that is LED is from them. fast delivery and not a problem with any of their products.

Yea, the autolumination ones are choice.

Here's a closeup of mine.

The also sell an LED bulb that is white when it's used as a running light, but it flashes amber. They cost more, but could be cool if you wanna ditch the amber running lights.

i hope you are not using autolumination plug in "LED bulbs" as your brake lights and/or turn signal and reverse.

No. IF anyone doesn't already know please use one of the voltage regulator things on the bulbs that flash. ie turn signals. If not the bulbs might not work, will flash too fast, in some cars like BMW cause the bulb failure light to come on . . . ect.

I switched all my interior lights and tag lights with LED's. The front bulbs are sylvania silverstars, HID 9006 lo's and H1 high's and stock rear tail light bulbs. I worked at a shop and ended up having to charge craploads of money to fix all the screw ups people made when trying to "install" stuff. My favorites were the BMW customers who couldn't figure out that the LED bulb they put in was causing all of their "issues" lol

Anyway, 4 years ago when I switched all my bulbs the LED's being produced were not as bright as they are now. . . for the money at least.

Buyer beware when it comes to Autolumination gear. I had to trace down the circuits and sockets on my rear lights. Turns out they sold me bulbs which were manufactured wrong. Then they told me that Scions were wired backwards.....hmmmm, and this is for a standard bulb. LOL I ended up modding the bulbs to finally get them to work. I now have LED's all around outside. Superbright LED's has some bulbs, also have found some units on Amazon.

Autolumination has just about EVERY type of replacement bulb you need.
I have ordered from them a lot. But I had one issue with some LED underglow failing, after a few emails back & forth, them trying to tell me that it coulda been caused by quite a few things, which didn't make sense since all 4 are wired to the same switch and the front 1 was the only one that that had some of the LEDs fail. I was left in the cold ! I also order from Oznium, their products are superior in design. Had a couple issues with their light and the issue was rectified immediaitely ! And I will be replacing that defective Autolumination LED underglow with the Oznium waterproof flexible LED strip....

None of my local auto parts stores stock them, but I did find the Sylvanias at Amazon.com for $9.95. Nice bulbs IMHO.
