Corrosion Warranty?

Default Corrosion Warranty?

So i noticed the other day that my beautiful box has a RUST SPOT right above the winshield. I LOVE NY! I am not sure what the rules are about the corrosion warranty does anyone know? does anyone else have this problem?

doesnt scion have a lifetime warranty for rust?

That's only if you can prove that there was a defect in manufacturing that caused the rust. Pretty much anything on the front of the vehicle, they're gonna say "stone chip, not our problem."

The paint MUST be bubbled, for it to be covered under the corrosion warranty.

Another thing,You say it is around the windshield have you had the glass replaced?The installer may have gouged the paint removing the old glass.

Good point but good luck proving that.
The best fix would be to spot sand and repaint the spot and then keep an eye on it.
