Default Cup holders + water bottle = mess

I have yet to find a 500ml standard size water bottle that does not want to tip over when taking a turn or stopping. It kind of makes the whole cup holder illumination thing a waste if you can't drive around at night with a couple of water bottles to show off the cool colors.

Anybody have a tip or a mod that stops the bottle from tipping?? I've tried a few different brands. They all want to fall over. And they all seem to be the same size at the base.

Here is a picture. Looks nice at night, just don't try to drive. Any hints ??

Velcro on your cup holder/cup

That is a good question though, I need something like that too!

Maybe you could get self adhesive weather stripping and line the cup holder just a bit under the top. I haven't tried it yet but it's the first thing that came to mind when it happened to me.

There is a SQUARE water bottle I use...I think it's FIJI brand or something...I took off the front label. It has a ASIAN picture that is on the back that shows through the bottle very nice...

Fiji... far from Asia.
Whatever. It looks Asian, you know, at least to me.

Not that big a deal...

Good....I'll try this one next. Thanks. I guess the whole point of this was to try to find one the worked for my cup holder illumination. All the water tastes the same to me.......they just cost different !!!

With regular 16oz water bottles, I drink a quarter of them and they seem to sit fine in the cupholders. Although, Zephyrhills (a Florida brand of water...part of Nestle) has new 16oz bottles that are shorter and chubbier. They fit fine in the cupholders, but they also cost a dollar more for a 36 pack...

Im with mikochu. I drink about a quarter of them and they stay fine. When they are full they are top heavy and fall over. Thus drinking some lowers the center of gravity. This is your science lesson for today
