balancing of the wheel is all i could be but without the hub centric ring, the wheel (balanced or not) will not seat centered anyway during high speed driving. which is why you feel it at higher speeds...

ummm i've never run hubcentric rings on MULTIPLE cars. with MULTIPLE wheel setups. you do not need them. theyre theyre for people who put wheels on incorrectly. aka not hand tightening first and just torquesing one lug then another without centering the wheel.

And unless I specifically demand it and stand and watch them, they will slap the wheel on with one hand and slam it with the impact wrench. For 20-30 bucks, they are good insurance that they will be lined up, regardless of how they are put on. It'll cost him more to have the wheels balanced and it won't do any good if they slap them on incorrectly...

I had my local tire dealer order some, but you can get them online. Here's one place I found just from Googling:

maybe he should do the work himself. like everyone one else in the world. theres no feeling like doing a job like say rotating tire like doing it yourself.

^^^^ Maybe some of us live in an apartment complex that WON'T allow car work of ANY kind. I got a warning letter because I checked my oil one day. Bunch of BS, but some of us can't 'do our own work' due to certain situations out of our control. I spent 8 hours in a park putting in LEDs because of this...LOL

It just seems to me there's a reason that Toyota engineers it's wheels to fit the hub exactly. Why wouldn't you want the same fit for your aftermarket wheels?

Here's a shot when my wheels were first being mounted and they hadn't put the HCRs on:
