Default Does this sound right?

Im finaly getting some rims for my xb. I went to a shop around town and he told me 1,700 for the set and installation. Then I called my sponsor and he told 1,610. Then I went searching on the internet and found them for 1,550. Why cant my sponsor get them for that amount? and if I told them I found them for cheaper could they make it that price instead?

sorry, but i amnot fimiliar with cars and this stuff ... but when you get yuor car sponsored YOU have to pay for parts????

i idea of "sponsor" is someone that puts/install their product on your car so that you can sell them by telling about their product?

Correct me if i am wrong!
If i am nto wrong ... then what is benefit of having sponsor if YOU have to pay for their items???

thanks
sorry if this quiestion is too dumb but i guess i dont understand it

if they are sponsoring you then should get free or discounted depending on type of sponsorship.. so i would say you are getting screwed

Is your sponsor the actual company that produces the wheels? If so, then yes you are getting screwed. If they are really sponsoring you it should be either free or a little over their cost.

If they are not the company that produces the wheel they are just trying to get a profit off of you. Money for the wheels + markup and your advertisements. Ask them how much the wholesale price for the wheels are.

yeah, that's not sponsership, that's douping. I'd not only break any engadgement with this company but not buy anything from them in the future. They obviously are not even giving you these rims for cost plus a little, but full retail minus a little.

The too will burn in hell along with the dealers that charge $450 for a one axle brake job.
