Default Don't forget about that drivetrain warranty!

For those that still apply...

My front driver's wheel bearing has been going bad for a while and I put off taking it to the shop after I decided I didn't have the time or energy to replace it myself.

Then I remembered that the powertrain warranty is a 5 year/60k warranty.

Fortunately, I'm just under five years and have 52k on the clock.

It's at the dealership right now having the bearing and spindle replaced under the extended warranty.

Don't forget! Even after your 3/36k warranty expires. Powertrain includes:
Engine
Cylinder block and head and all internal parts, intake manifold, timing gears and gaskets, timing chain/belt and cover, flywheel, valve covers, oil pan, oil pump, engine mounts, turbocharger housing and all internal parts, supercharger housing and all internal parts, engine control computer, water pump, fuel pump, seals and gaskets.
Transmission and Transaxle
Case and all internal parts, torque converter, clutch cover, transmission mounts, transfer case and all internal parts, engine control computer, seals and gaskets.
Front-Wheel-Drive System
Final drive housing and all internal parts, axle shafts, drive shafts, constant velocity joints, front hub and bearings, seals and gaskets.
Rear-Wheel-Drive System
Axle housing and all internal parts, propeller shafts, U-joints, axle shafts, drive shafts, bearings, supports, seals and gaskets.

Yet another reason why I'm holding off on putting a turbo on my new tC until it's as old as my '05 xB (but I can't rationalize putting a turbo on the box lol).
