drill 3 small holes in the bottom of the lens and your problem will be gone.

I went to a Scion event near Safeco Field (Seattle Mariners) last Saturday. There was a RS2 owner with this same problem. He said he had used a pressure washer which he felt caused the problem. However, yesterday I read some posts about these lights that would indicate that while these lights are affordable ($100 or so) the problem with the seals is not uncommon, so I for one feel it's a quality control problem.

Lots of people are having the same problem. I'd suggest opening the housing, drying it out, and re-sealing it really well with some quality epoxy/clear silicone.

Dont wait too long to dump the water out. mine filled up about 1/2" of water in the bottom of one of mine causing the black paint to bubble. I remove the silicone around the two projector housing and wipe them out. Before I put them back together I am going to replace the white leds in the halos with really bright ones and then resilicone all around the light to ensure no more leakage.

These headlights with all their problems seem to fit more in the "junk" rather than the "custom" category.

Pop the light bulbs out and use a hair dryer to blow WARM (Not HOT) air in. Then run a bead of silicone seal around the edge taking care to get it in the corner areas.

All their leaking problems huh? Regardless of "Junk" They sure look bad@$$ at night, a sealing problem isn't that hard to fix.

If the manufacturer cared about the future of this product, they would make sure the lights were sealed correctly before they left the factory. If they don't get on it, another company will make a better bad@$$ light that will drive these guys out of business.

accually, right behing the low beam housing there should be a large black cup looking thing, if you pull it off then you can air it out w/o drilling holes, I just got a set and it did the same thing, but it was fix in about 20min, taking that part off. I would also recoment sealign it back up with silicone.

that's why i 'm staying away from thoses projection light,i have to say they do look great but the fogging problem i can't live with and they do not light up the road like the stock, here's the thing if you get the cheapy one from ebay or any projection light your best bet is to reseal them before installing, that would help, if it don't then try drilling 3 pin size holes on the bottom, that's what i did when i had em on my honda civic...

that hair dryer idea might work but what about the water marks how would you get that out, remember the water would dry out but the water marks would stay there, just take the headlighs apart and dry em with a lint free cloth, get some silicone from home depo and reseal em problem gone......

You're the one I sent the TEIN strut things to, right? I had this problem with my HID retrofit... anyhow, go to Walmart and pick up some clear silicon sealant... it'll be in the paint section with the caulk. Take out your headlights, open them up and let them dry inside the house for a day or two. While they're drying you can seal up the edges with the sealant. It should make the fog go away and you'll be set.

Well, the lights are around 150$ for a pair shipped, x3racing an ebay seller seals them for you. Trust me man, sealing isn't really that hard regardless of the factory not sealing them. All in opinion whether you want the look or not. You get what you pay for, but that doesn't mean you cant fix it yourself, especially for an easy fix such as a leak.

i think the factory need to do a better job on these lights,it's not fair to comsumers to buy a product that will give problems, poor work on a product can hurt a company but in this case it might not because the problem is very simple to fix and theses lights are selling like hot cakes....
