I'm way too chicken to try this out. Is it possible to do it without seriously messing up your car?
Ali and I were thinking about doing a rally driving or drifting school for a few days vacation! How much fun would that be?

NO, NO, do it on DRY pavement...... Can you say "Flat spot your tires?" I new you could.....
Unless you are a rally driver using your ebrake to kick the back around a tight corner in the woods somewhere..... What's the point??

I'm a bit curious as well if the Stability Control system in the xB will void out an e-brake turn.
We had snow-covered roads up here last week, and I made good use of the e-brake on our Infiniti G20 (in a safe manner of course). This CAN help pull you out of terminal understeer on the slippy stuff, but it's also just plain fun :D and good practice for our local SCCA RallyCross events! One can never be truly safe in a car unless you occasionally explore its limits on a loose surface.
.....At least this is the excuse I give my wife for behaving like a hooligan in snow!
I'd really like to see how the xB is on snow & ice..... can't wait to have it shipped up here to WA next week!

the xA will handle a brake and skid, although the length of the car makes it a short skid, so go faster if you try it.
the xB just won't do it. traction control kills it, even with it turned off the VSC will kick in as soon as you try it. couldn't get it to work

E-Brake turns work just fine!
I've done it in the wet, and dry...
Approach a turn quickly, but not to fast.
Tap the brakes (weight transfer)
Turn the wheel, and pull the E-Brake...
Lots of fun, and not to dangerous.
Works better in the wet, but dry is fine too.
