Last year I did that in my Prelude in the snow. 25mph down my street. Slid sideways into my parking spot heheh. Easier than parallel parking. Although, it does stress the E-brake AND causes girlfriends to not want to ride with you in snowy conditions... My E-brake failed this summer. $435/ea for new rear calipers (little e-brake part no longer engaged/disengaged).

My buddy did it in his mint 84 Civic (40k miles) the other night. We had a big patch of ice in the parking lot at work... he just gunned it. Hit the ice, pulled the ebrake and snapped the wheel sideways. We were like crazy sideways sliding.

I would either say... do it while it's under warranty or don't do it at all. If your tires aren't properly inflated or you do something wrong you can roll a sidewall and flip your car or damage your wheels/suspension/brakes. If they find out what you're doing though... your warranty would probably aready be voided... (can't wait to see if the tC will do it though) ;)

rriight.....sorry speed racer.....

aslong as your not going like 60 miles an hour when u lift your e brake u shouldnt have any problems.....and btw make sure there are no cars or poles nearby (duh)

go about 30-35 on second gear.. slight turn ur steering wheel to the left and turn to the right hard (or as needed) as you lift the ebrake......start slow and small and ull slowly get the hang of it.

hmm/..its raining right now.....later

Used to do this in my Rav4 all the time, and my Suzuki Sidekick, and Samurai before that. (It was terrifying in the Samurai.)

Yes, you can drift in an xA. Its fun.
