Emergency Light Curse

Emergency Light Curse
Hey guys,
I have a 05 XB. Looking for a little help here. Today coming home from work I get out of the box take the baby inside. I come back to get some bags and the box's emergency flashers are going off. I thought to myself " I must have hit the button on the way out some how and didn't notice it walking away??"
I get into the Box to depress the button and the button was not pressed??? So I start the box and shut back down. Still mysteriously flashing. I run through a check list in my mind and think Maybe a fuse! Check the fuse and nothing. Pull the fuse and still continues to flash. After being stumped. I pull one of the terminals on the battery.
Was hoping any of you guys can shed some light on this odd situation???

Well just wanted to get everyone a update. I took the paneling off and figured out I have a faulty switch. For some reason it always remains engaged now. How I don't know but I will be taking it to the dealer to get it replaced.
Thanks for your help.
