May’s featured ride is not a stranger to Scion Life. Nilo “the Don” Miranda’s Polar White Scion xB has gone through numerous changes and has rapidly evolved to be one of the most recognized xBs in these forums.
Aside from his day job as an investment banker, Nilo is also co-owner of Scion Sport Tuning and is heavily involved with the first nationwide Scion owner’s club – Scion Evolution. We have seen his car evolve from stock form to where it is today.
Although he has a last generation Toyota Supra that is highly modified, Nilo prefers to drive the xB on a daily basis. You’ll see him driving the mean streets of Anaheim Hills (just kidding) from where he hails.
This vehicle has been in numerous car shows in California and Nevada. From the beginning stages when he was introduced to the Scion xB, he got the mod fever and started to hook up his ride with things like Axis Wheels – he has a set of Wheel Site Mesh 2 and TC Evos to be exact. Zeo Wheels also were put on his ride along with Dunlop tires for a
period of time to help the company promote their wheel line. Velox Wheels jumped on board as well to use his xB for a poster on Super Street Magazine for an upcoming issue.
His car will also be featured on a popular Japanese tuner magazine in a few months.
Sound system is consisted of Image Dynamics speakers, ARC Audio amplifier and Accele Vision Monitors and DVD to watch his old collection of Hawaiian music videos and his favorite TV show on DVD – “Saved by the Bell”. Dustin Diamond (aka Screech) is one of his favorite actors..hehehe.
The outside of the car is finished off with Nish Designs silver carbon fiber products which includes a splitter, canards, side and back splitters and matching door pillar sills.
A one-of-a kind Red Genie Aerokit modified by Nish Designs and a TRF front grille finishes off the exterior of the xB. A matching silver carbon fiber hood from Extreme Dimensions / Carbon Creations compliments the rest of this box.
To match the silver carbon fiber theme, Nish Designs also created matching door sills and dash accents. The upholstery was done in a pearl white material to make it stand out even more.
Under the hood you’ll find a carbon fiber engine cover from Island Motorsports / Scion Sport Tuning, a JIC Magic upper stress bar for better cornering and a K & N Typhoon intake system.
Exhaust is a Magnaflow Cat-back system to give it a low rich sound when he is cruising Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles. To even add more ”bling” when he cruises downtown, Varad interior lighting and under car kit in orange, lights up his vehicle like fireworks on the 4th of July.
His ride has gone a long way in a short period of time. His hard work has paid off and along with Scion Evolution and some of his products supporters, he wants to take this Polar White xB to the next level.
