One other thing:

Check out this link:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...er=asc&start=0

And see if you two can't make it for that! I think that would be so cool, two yellow Boxes there...

I'm not a member so I can't input there. I'd recommend Hobie Beach for the -fantastic backdrop. Cars in array with the Bay and skyline in backdrop? Something like that?

-RS2 decor idea (is too wild for me to do for permanent, but -poster paints- would be OK for a one-day photo shoot affair

Yellow Submarine the theme!
-blue waves lapping all around the RS2, up to doorlock level and -fishes- below and whitecaps.. and curls of water on the hood!

I could BRING POSTER PAINTS and volunteer my RS2 to be your pallette. I'd supply brushes; "hake" brushes are the best!
Are there -any real artists in the group????
-this'd be a Hobe Beach scene "paint job", of course!-

just a dull idea

Congrats on the box(s)!!!!
As I'm finding out at 41, you're never too old for the box!
So, did you get 5-speeds or autos????

autos. I came close to going manual but... my practical side cut out that idea.

the auto is fun, too, if you use the selector and good judgement in shifting.

Ray and I have our birthdays coming up late in May. ONE day less than forty years apart in age. That's a neat coincidence---almost as cool as his buying a yellow car "just like this one!" the Monday following my Saturday purchase of #1910

I've a photo surprise I'll post up very near to our mutual birthdays. Wait and see!

You're 41 years old? Great! lets find RS2 owners of ages 21, 31, 61, 71 and 81... and -have a club of th' Special Ones.

cheers,
reid/SciFly

Default Nice story.

Hey, I'm 52 years young.
I saw it and loved it on site.

Put down a BIG $20 bucks to hold it, and went back two days later and handed the dealer a check for the balance.

The dealer gave me a $250.00 check for my business.

I have 4 vehicles including the box and by far this is the most fun to drive.

I stopped in a 7-11 for a quick cup of coffee the other day and when I went back to the box there were 4 people looking at it. Most of them were in my age range....

Go figure!!!

thanks for all the inputs, guys. I don't reply to every new input because the thread should not dominate the board by my hand...
but while this one is near the top again I guess it's OK.

You folks help make Ray happy and of course, me too.

-Everybody should feel good all the time- wish it were possible!

Profuse thanks to all for your good regards

Well, Wellington! TJ! Scion Joe!
Joanne and Will = top notch graphic artists; I've met you now.
And George, thanks: you gave me an informative gift.

Scion Evolution Miami Remembered
heck, it was only an hour ago....

I'm joining SE, TJ with
Lambor. John (1) of many LEDs
and Wellington (2) of Trinidad
and Joanne (3) who's paired to Will who's number (4).
Also two (5)-Georges-(6)
and many more...

There is a gear shift Evolution
Revolution spinning heads
making Scion waves of motion

I think I'll be a Scion Man

Lots of smiles and broad faced grins...
TJ telling how cops pulled him over at

The heck with that!
Why, I'd speed right off

"you'll wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent"

This story really made me smile!
My Grandpa just turned 91 last month and loves my Xb. Where I live, I actually see a lot more older folks driving the Xb's and Xa's, I'm talking 60's-80's.
I'm glad he found a nice yellow box and I hope he enjoys it for years to come. :D
