Default Floor Mats/Cargo Mats

I just got my automatic Thunder Cloud Scion xB at age 61. Yes, us old folks like the Scion too. I chose floor mats/cargo mat for an accessory at $120 (wish I had waited and got elsewhere--would have been less expensive). When I picked up the car I only had carpet mats, no cargo mat. I told the sales rep that sold me the car and he said, "oh, you don't get a cargo mat, only the floor mats." So, what do I know. I later checked the accessory listing and both were listed together for $120. I also called Scion and they said the floor mats and cargo mat come together as a set. You really have to watch those dealers! Now, I have to get the dealer to cough up the cargo mat. If you ordered this accessory, make sure you get the entire set, not just part of it.

Good luck getting it and congrats on the purchase. We only got fog lights on our two xB's. Drove straight to autozone afterwards and boughts floor mats and cargo mats for both for $50.

I still cant believe that people are paying $120 for mats that wear out in a matter of months. And i believe that for the price of the rear mat, you can get a rear cargo liner that will cover the entire rear section of the car with the seats folded down, and gives you a flip out cover for the rear bumper too.

61 ain't old, you're just hitting your groove! I opted for the metal floormats, they'll NEVER wear out.

Where is this cargo liner available? I plan to buy rubber mats from mats.com, but I'm still looking for something in the cargo area.

61! That's fabulous! Yes, the cargo mat should have come with the mats for your XB, so make sure that you receive it. I made sure that I got the cargo mat with the other mats before I drove off. Before I bought my XB, I had a VW Golf with rubber mats. They definitely protected the floors in the Golf and I kept them for the XB. You may want to consider purchasing 2 large rubber mats for the front floors when the weather gets bad.You can get 2 black ones at Target cheaper than Autozone. They also come with small ones for the back seat under $20. Good luck with getting that Cargo mat! It's yours! You paid for it! You're entitled to it! Don't let this go! Get him for all he's worth!

What about with the seats up? Does it still cover the cargo area?

Default extended cargo mats

Hi

I'll check with my supplier on Monday, but I believe the extended cargo mats are really only intended for use with the seats down.
With the seats up, you would probably need only regular cargo mats, which I offer on my website:

Carpet cargo mats: http://www.allscion.com/Lloyd_car_mats_solid_color.html
Rubber all-weather cargo mats: http://www.allscion.com/Lloyd_car_mats_all_weather.html

Best regards
Paul
