Again this set up is designed for you all out race freaks that demand the tuneability.

This is no easy set-up, so approach with patience.
Sorry for the confusion. I was talking about my race bug. I know our B's have a rev limiter....I go there sometimes. lol

Maybe this was covered, maybe not...

I believe that you and I have the same pistons and rods, but are you running a different crank? I think that is gonna be my weak point...

For Driver Lost, no worries on the confusion. It happens.

Now about my rods and pistons

9:1 Arias Pistons ( ceramic coated for high heat and gas ported w/ file fit rings)

Crower rods (titanium H-beam) courtsey of my friend Brian prior to him and his dads falling out.

The crank...lets talk about that. The one good thing about most 4 cyl. imports is that the crank is actually very strong. Unless your doing some insane hp on the motor you'll be fine with what is stock. So unless your going over 500hp in this motor you'll be fine. You should also know that in a inline 4 cyl. motor that unless you have some crappy rods and pistons you dont need to even have the motor balanced. Be sure to weigh all your parts first. I.E. ( rods, pistons) if weights are even across the board install and run it.

Hope this helps

Lets talk about boost and detination.

So you want to run more boost, but you have piggy back ECU ( greddy blue) and your starting to detonate, and crap you cant retard any more timing.

solution: Run a methanol kit w/ 93 pump gas this will give you about 100 octane. Now you can turn up the boost and be safe.

Remember the higher the octane the less chance of detination. Higher octane fuels are slower to burn so more boost is allowed.

So with a simple Water/Methanol kit you can add some boost with out the risk of hurting your motor. Remember to run a 50/50 blend of water and M1 Methanol.

Best bang for your buck is the AEM kit. or if you want to get fancy get a Snow Performancwe kit. Call and ask for Matt Snow or talk to Karen they know about the XB and know exactly what you need. However like I said it doesn't need to be fancy, it just needs to do the job.

You should be able to go from 6-7 psi to 10 psi with no problem. It's an awsome way to get more for so little.

Well there it is, you want to go all out? thats the set up I'm using on this new set up along with doing direct port nitrous. I've got to drill 4 holes in the runners and weld 4 bungs for my NX Pirana valves.

That blue hose isn't even on the car. The pic was taken when I had the head off and it loose from the motor mounts and was doing work. Yes axels are made by Gator axel.

Good site for methanol. Hope this information is being helpful. Would like to see people succeed in their builds.

My new motor build is so far out in left field, I'm nervous to see what is going to happen. Doing a few new things that have not been tested. I'll let you know after I've done it. Lets see what happens.

Anyone needing to sleve their 1NZ-FE?

Well your now in luck, I was speaking to a friend of mine over at Golden Eagle, You can have your block sleved and honed for 1,200.00. You must send in your pistons as well as your block, or they will sleve it and use Arias pistons if you need pistons.

Anyone going ***** out this is for you.
